Ooops! Trending...


Another scary food product from China has entered the Philippines again. Presently in the market, there are already some vegetables which are bigger in size and smoother in texture but are sold for the same price as our own products or even cheaper at times.
Normally, we get vegetables from Benguet province. SINAG, an agricultural organization there has been worrying about the possible effect of such event on their trading business.
It has been reported that in 2014, there is a total of 350775 kls of carrots being traded. However, only 12133 kls are registered in Custom, so there are about 338642 kls of smuggled carrots.
These vegetables are said to contain formalin. It is treelm maintain the vegetables' freshness but can cause damage to human body.
